My client in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced DMPK scientist to join their Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetic Group. The successful candidate will be highly skilled with drive to evaluate and implement state-of-art in vitro technologies to assess drug-drug interaction potential of compounds. Supporting small molecule programs from early discovery to Phase II the successful candidate will bring expertise in CYP inhibition, CYP induction, drug transporter and other cell-based assays.  Serving as a representative to project teams the successful candidate will interact across the organization and with other sites. Passion for mentoring and developing junior level staff and responsibility for direct reports. Proficiency in PBPK modeling using software is not required but a plus.
  • A PhD. in drug metabolism, pharmaceutical sciences or other related field with 7 or more years of industry experience.
  • Expertise in the field of CYP induction, CYP inhibition and drug transporters, with strong cell culture.
  • Highly motivated, passionate scientist, with good problem solving and excellent communication skills (oral and written)
