Senior Principle Investigator, Anatomic Pathology

As a key member of the Preclinical Safety Assessment department the successful candidate will be highly visible in a global function capacity responsible for the design and conduct of nonclinical safety programs for the comprehensive safety assessment of novel therapies. This involvement is at all stages of drug discovery and development process. Working within a matrix environment she/he will develop appropriate pathology strategy for a full evaluation (discovery, preclinical and clinical) of candidate molecules. She/he will utilize cutting edge science and technologies to perform robust assessments and bring new approaches to augment drug discovery and development. Working closely with the Toxicology function, help develop and coordinate the overall toxicologic-pathology strategy and drug development plan. A
DVM or equivalent and ACVP/ECVP board certification in veterinary anatomic pathology is required and 8+ years of biotech or pharma experience is preferred. Outstanding communication skills (interpersonal, oral, written) including authorship of regulated pathology reports and ability to present findings to senior management and external venues.
